Opportunity Link Receives Funding From NWAF

January 2014: Great Falls and the other communities within the Golden Triangle area are the recipients of a grant through the Northwest Area Foundation out of Minnesota (MWAF).

Opportunity Link was awarded $334,074 to address affordable housing, job training, and job creation for low-income workers in North-central Montana. The two-year grant will allow Opportunity Link and partners to focus on policies and projects that will encourage the use of local resources, including labor, materials, and expertise to improve housing within the region.

Opportunity Link received some small grants over the past few years, but this one may be an opportunity for some transitional housing for the homeless.
